9/20/99 We now have a release dates page, I will try to keep it up to date. It should be good till at least the end of the year right now. Also all the rated movies now have quick ratings next to them on the rated movies page.
8/29/99 Today I put up a message board and rearanged the first page. You people need to use the message board....8/28/99 After months of nothing I finally got around to doing something with this page. I put up a poll, and I voted for "it sucks" because, well, it does. Lots of new stuff will be up soon, it seems like I've said that before....
4/25/99 I got some more reviews up and we now have a movie review (The Matrix) with a picture and some links. I will do that to most of the new movies we put up. I found out some of the reviews don't look right if they are viewed on a smaller screen then mine. I have my screen set to 1040 x 768. I will try to fix this sooner or later. All the reviews are still readable and I think only three of them are affected by this. We are starting to average about 20 hits a day so that's cool, pretty good for the first web page I have ever made huh?4/20/99 As you can see we haven't done anything here for a while. I guess I lied in my last comment. I've been busy lately with a new job and stuff but I'm back and will start updating this more often. I see that we are listed with Excite.com so we are getting more people here. That is what I have to say I don't know about Thom, I haven't heard from him in awhile. He must be out frolicking in fields or something.
The reason we don't have pictures of Duct Tape or guns to go along with our ratings is because I haven't found good pictures I can use yet. We will also put the year the movie came out next to its name on the We Rate the Movies soon.
4/4/99 I put up another counter, one with more details. I reorganized the files. I changed the logo and the top of the first page. Some reviews were also put up. I submitted this page to several search engines so hopefully we'll start getting more hits within the next few weeks.
I plan on having pictures and wav files for each movie, also links to movie specific sites. Someday I want to put up an editorial section too. This page is growing fast, Thom and I are really going to concentrate on getting reviews and other movies related stuff up so if it seems like we don't have a lot that will change soon.
3/21/99 I fixd al the sppeling missstakes. And we have more then 100 hits, even though they are mostly from Thom and I.
3/19/99 I got some more reviews up. We now have a logo. I have some links off to the side, but they need work.
3/17/99 Today we got some reviews up. Added the "new to rent movies", and "how we rate stuff" pages. We put up a couple of our lists. And changed our name from "Doug and Thom's movie page" to "The Movie Shrine".
3/16/99 This page is first put up on Tripod. It doesn't look like much yet but I'm working on it. Thom and I will start getting the ratings and reviews up as soon as possible.
